In preperation for the this run, we decided to pull a bunch of boost out of the program. Carmen modified the setting of the boost controller taking out about 5-7 pounds of boost on avg. We left the launch boost very low given I had brand new drag radials on and we still have to dial in the launch. I left on only 3 lbs of boost and got a 1.65 60 foot (about 3 tenths below my best) and kept my foot in it all the way. the car felt smooth and straight as an arrow. I was shocked when I got my slip and it read 8.55 @ 173!!
