It shows the australian way of life, and how - of course - the vw beetle fits perfectly in that way of life.The was the result of a cooperation between the australian government and volkswagen australasia. The vw plant was establised in Australia from 1959, which - of course - boosted the australian economy. That's what explains the coproduction of this short film.It's fun to watch the more than 40 year old documentary footage of 'aussies' working, recreating and doing their thing, with the vw beetle! The oldfashioned voice over, the faint kodachrome color, it all brings me back to the '60's when life just seemed a little less complicated.Please contact me if you're interested in the DVD.
