I installed a Pertronix Ignitor II with a 40,000 VOLT FLAME-THROWER coil for my 429. I wanted my 1968 thunderbird to stop dieseling (Run-on), but it is still doing it. They said the electronic ignition should solve it. But it dose make a little difference.
