Supermoto @ Sear's Point

Length: 08:28

This video is from the 03/31/08 3J's Trackday held at Sear's Point (Infineon Raceway) in Sonoma CA. This was my first time riding Sear's Point and my first session in the "A" Group. I had been in "B" the earlier 3 sessions due to my unfamiliarity with the track not wanting to cause any issues by riding a slowtard in the Race Group (seeing as how their were AMA guys out there). I know I am "off-line" in a few of the corners, notably Turn2, Turn4, Turn5, and Turn11. This was rectified in later sessions. Also this was only the second time I've ridden this bike, last time was almost a year ago at Loudon, and I am still learning it's capabilities and attributes. These babies slow down like you wouldn't believe and I still find myself entering corners going "You idiot you slowed down way too much!!". Goal of day was accomplished, and that was to run sub-2:00 laptimes, which was met and then some. Motards are fun. If you haven't tried it, you should. Additional Info: Bike - 2005 RMZ450 4-speed Gearing - 16 / 38 Mods - Leo Vince X3 pipe, cut head. Otherwise stock Horsepower - 52.37 on Leo Vince dyno Top Speed - 100mph'ish with stiff tailwind and someone pushing Tyres - Pirelli slicks (16.5" front and 17" rear) PSI - 21F and 23R Motard was parked after this as I wanted to put some time in on the Ducati 848.
